  • Giclée printing is an advanced, high-resolution inkjet printing method used to create museum-quality reproductions of fine art and photography. The word comes from the French word gicler, which means "to spray". It describes how the printer applies microscopic dots of ink onto the page. A true Giclée print uses stable pigment inks instead of standard dye inks, which resist fading; they are printed on acid-free, museum-grade papers (like cotton rag) or canvas that last over 100 years.

  • Prints are overseen by the master Max Boxer at @archival_print in Margate, and we print onto 320gsm Cotton Rag fine art paper.

The paper is a heavyweight, archival-quality fine art paper made from 100% cotton fibres, offering exceptional strength, durability, and longevity. It’s naturally acid-free, preventing yellowing or degradation over decades.

  • I frame my work in sleek, black aluminium frames from Nielsen’s C2 Vision range with Synthetic Glass.

I chose these frames are they light, hard-wearing, elegant and minimalist - which forms a nice contrast to the vibrancy of my images. The plexiglass also means that it’s possible to ship the works without the worry of smashed frames - and they are also much lighter and easier to hang, especially in the larger sizes.

I do not charge a huge mark up on frames - my goal is to give someone who buys my work a beautiful and affordable framing option - so the work is ready to hang on the wall and enjoy.

  • Unframed prints up to A3 size will be sent in a flat rigid mailer; unframed A2 and A3 prints will be carefully rolled sent in a tube.

Framed prints are securely packaged in reinforced boxes with bubble wrap. The plexiglass glazing means they can be securely posted - unlike glass which is extremely fragile and almost impossible to post!

  • All orders are shipped with Royal Mail 48 Hour tracked service.

Unframed Prints: as all prints are made to order, unframed prints will be delivered within 7 days of an order being placed.

Framed Prints: as frames need to be ordered, please allow 10 days to receive your framed order.

We will let you know if there are any delays - and send you a confirmation and tracking number when your order has been shipped.
